Over the years the embedded street names and road names have been removed as new concrete has been poured. Is it possible to get the council to re-instate this or at least preserve the current ones. Given it is a heritage area, shouldn’t these be protected?

Looking for experiences from people regarding the best agent to use for selling or renting out a house in the Golf Links Estate

Hi there,
I grew up in the golf links estate – in fact my mother still owns our house.
I’ve been curious for some time about the leadlight feature windows depicting little sceneries such as hills and lakes. I’ve been to a few houses on the estate and some have these but others don’t – and they’re all different.
Why I’m writing is to ask whether there is any history on these, such as who designed them and who made them? I wish I had enquired about this literally fifty years ago when the craftsman/artist might have still been alive.

Floating an idea, - would residents be interested in setting up a network of camera’s where footage is saved in the “cloud”. Should an incident occur, the relevant footage could be passed onto the police.
In addition, to let any would be culprits know that they will be caught, perhaps permission from council for signs saying something like
“This estate is under constant video surveillance, if required this will be provided to police”
